Radiologists

MRI images are highly detailed, and proper reading requires special expertise. At Pacific MRI Center, our radiologists have completed formal MRI fellowship training both locally and abroad. Once the patient steps into the center, the radiologist facilitates the following:

  1. Protocoling: The radiologist designs an MRI examination geared towards answering the relevant questions of both the patient and referring physician.
  2. Monitoring: The radiologist reviews the MRI images and obtains additional views as needed to help make the correct diagnosis.
  3. Preliminary Reading: Whenever appropriate, the radiologist provides a preliminary reading to the referring physician to expedite patient care.
  4. Final Interpretation: The radiologist reviews the MRI exam and compares it to previous relevant studies, to generate a report that aids the referring physician in patient management.
